Cannot play tunein radio station via bose music app

I currently have bose music app version 2.3.2

Error C7-SC3103

Name of radio station is “ Met 107” in Bangkok Thailand

So that I can provide you with the correct information can you please answer the following:

 

  • What Bose System do you have? 
  • Are you able to stream this station via Tune-in on their website?
  • Have you ever been able to stream this station? 
  • Have you attempted to delete and reinstall the app?

I lost the the Tunein off the App entirety. 

Tunein was there yesterday in my presets and in my services. Today there gone and so is pandora.

Thank for your response

1 I have bose home 500.

2 Yes, I can stream this station from tunein app( both IOS and android).

3 I was able to stream this station couple times in the first day, after that I cannot stream this station.

4 I did both reinstall app on my ios device and reset bose home 500.

 

This email link “Community_Manager@communitymail.bose.com” is not valid.

Thank you for getting back to us regarding this issue. We would love to do what we can to assist you with this matter. 

 

When you reset your Home Speaker 500 did you perform this via the following instruction: Turn off your product and disconnect the power cord for 30 seconds.

 

I would also attempt in rebooting your router. Routers may need to be reset from time to time—much like rebooting a computer. Disconnect power from the router for 30 seconds, then wait for it to start up and connect. Please retest after this has been performed. 

 

Can you finally confirm your Home Speaker 500's Firmware version. You can find this under the product settings within the Bose Music App.

I did all steps you said.

Firmware version 5.0.11-8128+2af4a93

App version 2.3.2

Today I can play this station (Met 107), unfortunately I cannot play this station after I change to another radio station.

I think there’s nothing wrong with the bose device, but the problem may comes from tunein itself.

Hi Bose, I too have the same issue as above however with a different radio station. 

 

My Bose is a model 500 speaker and can play pretty much every station of TuneIn very easily except for the one I want to listen to magic Auckland. https://tunein.com/radio/Magic-Auckland-702-s246103/

 

TuneIn works perfectly on IOS, android and through bose via bluetooth, just not through the Bose app. 

 

Can you please look into any issues with the Bose app for this specific station? 

 

I have tried router and speaker resets multiple times and this doesn't resolve the issue.

I've had a look at this station for you, and I am able to get it to play through the Bose Music app on my speakers.

 

Have you tried the troubleshooting posted in this thread already? If not I would recommend that you do so as these steps will definitely help.
