Using the Bose Soundbar 500, we have problems going from playing music via the Alexa app to TV sound. We have to unplug the Soundbar to get it to go back to playing TV sound. That can’t be normal.
Solved! Solution.
Hey,
Thanks for your message. How are you finding the Soundbar 500?
Happy to help with any questions or issues that you may be experiencing. You mention using an app - how exactly are you listening to music from Alexa to the soundbar? Is this via a voice command using the built-in Amazon Alexa assistant, or are you using an Amazon application from your phone/tablet and playing audio via Bluetooth or AirPlay 2 instead?
To change audio inputs on the soundbar, you should not need to unplug the speaker. Instead, pressing the TV button on the remote as noted below will change the inputs. How does the soundbar react when you press this button?

Gosh what dummies we were....yes, that works much better than unplugging it.
Thank you!
