Home 500 Power Usage

I bought a Home 500 speaker in the USA. In the user manual it says the input AC voltage is 100-250Volt, I would like now to use it in Europe, Can I just put it to the AC power or I need a transformer from the 240 to 110VAC ?

Thanks.

Re: Home 500 Power Usage

Hello mottyd5,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I would love to assist you with this!

The Home Speaker 500 has a power requirement of 100-240 V, this will be suitable in Europe and will not require a transformer in order to power on your speaker.

I hope this helps!

Thanks Tigan,

So I just need to use a European cable and not to be worried that it will blow up...😊?

Re: Home 500 Power Usage

Hi mottyd5,

Thanks for getting back to me!

Yes this should be fine, I would recommend once returning to Europe that you contact your regions Bose product support team in regards to getting a replacement power cable for your speaker. To contact your regions support team follow this link, select your region and scroll down to "Contact Us". There you will find the appropriate contact information and an agent will happily do what they can to assist you with this.

I hope this helps!

Warm regards,
