I can’t connect my sound bar sb700 on the app

So I just got the sb 700 soundbar and I have the app but every time I try to find the device it keeps saying “ops something went wrong” and I’ve tried it multiple times and it still keeps saying that...can someone help me out with this bc it’s starting to piss me off bc I spend a lot of money on this soundbar?

I am sorry that you are having issues setting up your Soundbar 700 with the Bose Music app and would love to assist you. 


Can you please try the steps mentioned here to complete an alternative set up method for the Soundbar as many users have had success with this. 


A few things to keep an eye on when trying to set up the Soundbar are: 

  • If you have a dual-band router ensure that your phone is running on the same band you are trying to set the Soundbar up onto. 
  • Ensure that the Soundbar is in set up mode by touching and holding the TV icon and Skip Back buttons for three seconds. 
  • Make sure the Soundbar is glowing amber before trying to set up the Soundbar.
