Music Service as Alarm on Home Speaker 500?

Hi,

I’d like to use the the Home Speaker 500 as an alarm clock getting me up with music.

At the forum Archiv I found a post that indicated that exactly this desired feature would not be supported by the smart speaker product line.

Are there any developments on this topic?

Is this going to work?

Thanks for posting and reaching out to us today. 

This isn't a feature that is currently available on the Home Speaker 500, however I would love to raise this for you as a future feature request.

However you may be able to use google assistant or Alexa to set alarms to wake you up (dependant on whether these are supported in your country)

I had hoped to be able to do this too.

There is also no way to select a preset with Alexa.

2 great features that should be enabled asap please.

Absolutely would love to have that functionality - this is something a EUR 300+ smart speaker should support!

Addendum for clarification: this should be made possible directly via the BOSE app without using Alexa - for the more privacy-loving folks among us (microphones permanently disabled).

I have now setup Alexa routines to power on and the power off after 90 min but even this is not reliable. 
still testing but I believe that if people are replacing clock radios with these premium devices they should offer the same functionality. The technology is there so please get the devs onto it and give us early adopters this feature without Alexa.
