I have a same issue. Brought bosesbose 700 and after setting up the device came to know that alaxa is not working in saudi arabia.
You found any solution for this issue?

Finnish ex-customer here. I just bought a home 300 speaker with the understanding that Finnish is not supported yet, but I was surprised to find out that English usage of the voice assistants is geoblocked. I will be returning my unit and will not look for new Bose products in the future.

Finland, 300 euro speaker, doesn't work. I had several speakers, you should try jbl, they worked fine for me.
I also have bose qc35 headphones, but, i guess, I'll upgrade to sony ones. Bose is just extremely bad with software. They forced me yo register an account just to setup the stupid speaker. Don't forget to give 1 star to their google play app
What's even more frustrating is that list has not been updated for ages (except for some mandarin add on!!!)!!!!
Im in Bolivia at the moment but my amazon account its from the United States and i bought my speaker why i cannot used it here?

Thank you for your advice. I did all the steps you suggested, but how could you pair the speaker with the Bose app using the VPN? I can´t, because once the VPN is activated the app ¨loose¨ the conextion to the speaker and I can´t configure the voice assistant 😞 ..... I was so happy about my new Bosse and now I feel disapointed. I´m in Panama.

I bought 4 soundbars 700 in saudi hoping to replace all my google home speakers.... a big fail for bose. At least make it available in english ... one word i can say,,, frustration of my bose investment
Just bought Bose Soundbar 700 + Bass module 700 and after quite long and complicated basic setup... found out that there is also unsupported Alexa and Google Assistant in our country (Slovenia).. so I AGREE - A premium brand should have a premium service and support + updates!
It makes you feel so frustrated and the people at Bose don't even seem to care. I have always bought Yamaha almost exclusively but fell to the temptation of the Bose 300 over the MusicCast20. Bose do have a quality reputation. But the moment the Alexa capability was removed, I never felt so stupid. It's been over a year now and no upgrade seems to be in sight. What is more rustrating is the fact the I paid the full amount, as much as people who are enjoying the capability. Bose, you now seem to be begging me not to buy Bose again.

I’m my case it’s not Portugal or any other country as you express in terms of geographic or language limitations. We live in Puerto Rico (witch is American soil) have Alexa and Google Home Assistant on other equipment and it’s all programmed in US English.
We purchased this speaker and not another one mostly because of this feature. again I have to ask if something is going to me done about this, since my plan was getting more of these to put around the house.
