Once switching my TV ON, through CEC the Soundbsr gets switched ON. This is desired, and OK.
Now, once the Soubdbar turns ON, it switches VIDEO OUTPUT to the TV (generates a Bose Music Logo).
This is thou UNWANTED, since this forces the TV to switch its input to the HDMI input (Soundbar).
As a result, every time you switch the TV ONyou must switch the program input back to the original program.
THIS IS VERY ANNOYING since there is NO REASON to output video signal from the Soundbar.
Please, BOSE give me a way to switch the video output OFF, avoiding the change of input at TV!
Many thanks in advance.
Thanks for posting and reaching out to us today! I am sorry to hear that you are having this inconvenience.
Have you attempted to adjust the CEC setting inside the Bose Music App? You can do this by opening the Bose Music App > Settings > Power > Advanced CEC then selecting the setting that suits you best?
Please update me on the result of this.

It seems that anything got better in regard to the interoperability between Soundbar and my Sony TV.
Meanwhile, my "system" got more usable, possibly due to Software updates on both sides. Probably result of my "complaints"...
Now, the questuion keeps still open here:
"Why does the Soundbar output a Bose logo as video to the TV?"
TV behaves wrongly, since as soon as it detects the CEC-device (with Video input) it switches to this program. Hence, whenever I switch TV on I get the "Bose logo" shown... I must then always press the channel button to go (back) to TV-program.
My point is:
Please @bose, give me the ability to switch off the "disturbing" video output (logo) from Soundbar.
The Soundbar is NO Video output device, therefore it brings my TV to misunderstand its functionality.
Please @bose, work on this issue!
