finally our soundbars got Airplay. However mine only rarely works. Most of the time when I select it as a target on my phone or computer, it will just spin for some time and then fail.
I have multiple HomePods and Apple TVs to which I can Airplay without issues.
Do you guys have any pointers what I could try?
Hi there. Mine also doesn’t work sadly. And been in touch with Bose support but they have not had a solution for me. It seems like we just have to wait.
Yup. Not too many people sharing this same issue so we won’t see Bose working actively to resolve this. They would ask you reset your device, change your router settings etc. At least those suppose solutions did not work for me and many others.
So I did the 5-Minute-Power-Cycle thing that keeps getting recommended.
it actually seems to have helped after the second try. It works for now, but I still have the feeling the feature is a bit wonky.

The „trick“ is: Pull the power and leave it out for 5 Minutes.

Somehow now Bose tells me I have to contact my local support for my airplay 2 problem because it is not possible for them to diagnose my problem for me, as this is a community forum. Even I asked the same question repeatedly that why Airplay 2 works on my Apple TV and my 2 Samsung TVs that support Airplay 2, and yet Bose Soundbar 700/500 don’t work. They could not even answer me. Maybe it’s best let the development team comes and speak to the users.

I have 2x700s and a 500 home pod. All were working non airPlay until one 700 suddenly disappeared.
I’ve changed WIFI networks and tried everything I can think of but I still can’t get it back. The other two devices work fine.
Someone please help 🙏
