Soundbar 700 installed and paired with Apple Homekit . . . now what?
Just received the new soundbar, fairly easy set up (I always think how people complained about setting up a VCR back-in-the-day!?!), got the services connected (SiriusXM), and the speaker shows up in the Apple Homekit app.
Now what? It is cool that I can play music throughout the house, what's the other bells-and-whistles? Can the homepod be used as a bass speaker? Can what is being played on through the soundbar (TV) be sent to other speaker too? What's the other available tricks for using the AppleTV (4k) with Bose?
Bose product name: Soundbar 700
Firmware Version: not sure, speaker updated during install
App Version: 4.3.3
What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.) Apple HomePod, Apple TV 4K, Sony Bravia TV
Any troubleshooting steps you took: Being playing with controls and settings. Getting used to universal remote.
