I have a soundbar 500. It constantly disconnects from the smart tv. I have used the HDMI cable and bluetooth as well. It loses all it settings/memory when its turned off. Alexia also has to be rebooted everytime. Its annoying.

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing with your Soundbar 500. This is certainly not normal behavior.

When you turn off the soundbar, do you turn the bar of at the outlet or pop it in standby?

I would recommend an HDMI reset. You can do this by unplugging both the soundbar and the TV for 30 seconds. Then plug the soundbar in and select the TV source. Once complete, plug the TV back in.
