Spotify not syncing

After the latest update from Android and Spotify they don't seem to sync and I can't play any playlist from Spotify. The radio and Bluetooth music works but not Spotify. I tried reinstalling both apps but nothing seems to work. What's the fix for this problem?

Thank you for confirming your Soundbar 700. 

 

Do you get any error messages at all in the Bose Music app?

 

Are you trying to play Spotify with a voice assistant?

 

Can you use Bluetooth to stream Spotify?

So on the Bose music app, as soon as I tap on the Spotify playlist is just goes in an endless circle of loading which never plays the music

 

No. I'm not playing music with voice assistant

 

Yes, Spotify can be streamed via Bluetooth. But previously, I didn't had too. It would work directly from Bose music app

Same issue here with Bose 700 soundbar. When tapping music in the Spotify tab of the Bose Music app it keeps loading/circling. No music playback

Can you please remove and re-add your Spotify account to the Bose Music app?

 

Do you experience any issues in playing audio from TuneIn on the Bose Music app?

Thanks for your reply.

Tune-In is working fine. No issues.

 

Regarding Spotify I tried your suggestion.

I removed Spotify from the Bose app.

Then closed the Bose app. Restart the app and added Spotify again. 

However I still have the same issue.

When tapping a song it keeps loading without playing anything.

I'm sorry to hear that the suggested troubleshooting has not resolved your issue. 

 

I would recommend deleting the application and reinstalling it. Hopefully, this will resolve any issues in the application from the update.

Hi Jessie,

 

I tried that as well. Even installed older versions, like 3.2.4 and 3.2.2.

it didn't help. Still keeps loading/circling when tapping a song in Spotify.
