The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Upgrade to soundbar 700

Hi all, I currently have the smart soundbar 300 with the 500 bass module and I'm thinking of changing the soundbar to the soundbar 700. Purely for a more wide spacial sound. My question is, will it be that much of a difference? I understand it's bigger yes, but will is the quality of the sound any different?

Second - I've heard a lot of people having random issues with the 700 i.e. playing music at night etc etc, is this a known bug? Don't really want to be worrying about it playing music at night.

Re: Upgrade to soundbar 700

Hello User-d7ac98, thanks for reaching out!

There are some differences between the smart soundbar 300 and 700. The main one is size, the other is that the 700 contains additional drivers and speakers which is why it is larger than the 300. Both still include voice assistant, SimpleSync abilities as well as all the features on the Bose Music app.

For a more in depth description on what the soundbar 700 can do. You can check out more information on the product page here.
