Will I be able to play a CD on my Wave Soundtouch iv and listen to it on the Home smart speaker 500?

Not wirelessly, and there are two issues:

 

You can connect the two by BT, but because of the systems used, the Home Speaker will be the master.  So that chooses what will play, not the Wave.

Even the Soundtouch systems that connect to the Wave directly (with the Wave as master) will only play streaming media (TuneIn/Spotify etc)

 

The only way you would do it would be with a cable into the headphone out of the wave.  However this will mute the Wave anyway, so probably not what you want.
