bose home speaker 500 voltage

Hi, I saw a question and answer about home speaker 500 is dual voltage; but I need be sure, I want purchase in San Salvador then on the label of the box I saw 120V, this is the voltage? what does it mean? I'm afraid it only works with a voltage of 120 or 110, and in my country I need to work with a voltage of 220. Thanks!

Re: bose home speaker 500 voltage

I see that Bose home speaker 500 is dual voltage. Can I get a new power cord for Indian plug standards or just use the existing US Plug with just adapter? Please let me know.

Hi francisxavierp,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Bose Community!

Either of these options should work, however we recommend that you purchase a new power cable rather than using an adapter. To purchase this part you will need to reach out to customer support in your region via clicking this link, then kindly scroll and select your region, once this is done please scroll to Contact Us. The team will be on hand and ready to help.

I hope this helps and if you have any further questions please do let us know.

Kind Regards,
