@Bs_loyal The thunder is definitely back when you do a factory reset after upgrading the firmware (basically on factory default). However if you run ADAPTIQ, I seem to lose some bass. I am in talks with Matt B and sending him test reports, I will be doing one tonight as well. Rest assured that Bose are actively working on a fix. 🙂
Just to clarify.
After i received the new Version 16.012 firmware it sounds great.
I did not need to do a factory reset or run Calibration and I will not as I like the sound now.
a new problem is that my Bose ST300 Will not stay turned off unless i diasbale HDMI CEC via the App. I am connected to TV with HDMI ARC.
Anyway it sounds amazing to me, as good if not better than version 14. I tested the same music tracks and Movies.
THERE IS EXCELLENT BASE RUMBLE EVEN AT TV LOW VOLUMES.
BY THE WAY, MY BASE IS SET TO EXACTLY MID POINT. NO NEED TO INCREASE IT UNLESS I WANT TO MAKE THE FURNITURE RATTLE.
IF YOU TURN THE BASE TO MAX THEN THE BASE MODULE COULD BE DESCRIBED AS 'EARTHQUAKE & THOR'S THUNDER'
