I know this really sucks but just be patient people. Give them some more time to fix all the bugs and get the bass working properly again. Remember good things come to those who wait...

I agree, stay cool folks.  I mean there is more to life than a set of speakers after all.  It will all work out OK & you'll be laughing about it with a cold beer soon enough.

Just purchased the rear speakers and to me its sounds fantastic at default settings.
Was waiting for the v16 to try the adapt iq but i could live with it they way it is. Having said that i have not heard the v14 and maybe i should be glad I haven’t. 😂

Tonight I found this message on this website:

“The SoundTouch 16.0.x ecosystem Stage 2 release is on hold. After the Stage 1 release, we received a handful of customer reports citing an issue when attempting to Play All/Group speakers after updating to 16.0.x where audio will play from the master speaker but not from any of the additionally grouped speakers.

“Engineering is actively investigating the root cause and is working towards a resolution. We suspect for these customers with multiple speakers, not all of their speakers updated to the latest software. An update will be provided here as soon as possible.“

Besides the apparent ineptitude of the Bose software engineers, I’m more than a bit dismayed by the company’s customer relations. Why don’t you folks volunteer this info? Why do we have to go searching for it?  You know that we’re waiting on this update. The least you could do while you’re chasing the bugs out of your code is to keep us apprised of the developments. We shouldn’t have to go searching for the reasons why an “Update” button doesn’t do anything at present. Who is running Bose these days—the engineers or the PR staff?
