I just recently bought a soundbar 300 with the acoustimass 300. The light from the acoustimass says that it is connected but there is no sound coming from the acoustimass. Is there a way to solve this problem?
Sorry to hear that you’ve been having problems with your SoundTouch 300 system.
There are a few steps we can take to troubleshoot this issue.
Unplug the Acoustimass 300 from power for 30 seconds, then plug back in. Watch for the LED on the back of the Acoustimass, and make sure it turns solid white after plugging the power back in. We also want to make sure that the link LED on the soundbar (which looks like two chain links) is lit solid white as well.
Eliminate any sources of interference in the area. Make sure any wireless routers, cordless phones, or similar devices are at least five feet (1.5m) away from the Acoustimass module.
If wireless interference cannot be eliminated, you can connect the Acoustimass module to the soundbar using a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable.
