App Issues

HI all, ive been plagued with app issues for the last 10 months or so and only now getting around to try and solve the issues.

One issue is the app on my imac wont play any music via the library, when i click the soundtouch logo i get a mesage HMM...4202 i then lose the speaker, when i try to reconnect the speaker via wifi i get instructions on how to connect via usb?? and cant connect to the 300 either

 

plase help before i go down the sonos route!!

Thanks for posting in the community!  Sorry to hear about the issues, but would be glad to help!  

 

To clarify, every time you try to open the SoundTouch app on the computer you get the 4202 error?

If that's the case, I would recommend uninstalling the app from the computer and reinstalling again HERE.  It could be the app has fallen out of date with the speakers, and won't open because of this.  

Also, do you have the app on a mobile device like a phone or tablet?  

Does it work from these devices?
