Bluetooth can’t be paired

Hi can’t seem to pair the Bluetooth to the soundtouch20 speaker even after resetting and forgetting all the existing pairing, although it indicates ready to connect. The aux and WiFi seems to work

Re: Bluetooth can’t be paired

Hi,

That didnt seem to work. But could understand that there are issues with pairing on the Bose Soundtocuh as it is being repeated by most of the customers. Could notice that restarting or rebooting the speakers would solve the problem; however, the lose of the connection repeats.

Another issue I have been facing is the audio output unsynced and similarly, at times the audio output is not being played thru the speaker in the bluetooth mode (even is the device shows its paired) but works fine with Aux.

Would appreciate a reply to how to avoid the aforementioned issues.

Thanks & regards,

Milin

Re: Bluetooth can’t be paired

Hi milinthomas,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue with your SoundTouch 20. What is the make and model of your phone? One other thing i can suggest to try is to factory default your system(this will remove the Wi-Fi connection and SoundTouch app), instructions can be found HERE.

Let me know the results.

Kind Regards,

Joel - Bose Support
