Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter Capabilities

Does it support HIGH-RES digital audio (higher than CD quality which is 44.1khz / 16bit), good examples are Deezer HiFi

and Spotify Hi-Fi - Lossless Hi-Res Music Streaming, on either or both Wi-Fi or Bluetooth mode?

If so, do you have the tech specs documented some place?  I can't seem to find it if there is any.

Also, are you adding more music streaming services like Tidal, Qobuz, etc that the product can support?

Thank you!

iHeart Radio: Up to 96 Kbps for custom stations; 48-64 Kbps for live stations
Pandora: 128 Kbps for all account types
Spotify: Up to 320 Kbps (OGG) depending on the service's stream

Music Files Types:
MP3*
AAC (excluding protected files)*
M4A (including Apple lossless [ALAC])*
WMA (excluding WMA lossless)*
OGG (Spotify only)*

*No known bitrate limitations with these formats. Sample rates limited to 96 kHz max

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Are you guys planning on improving the quality from 320 kbps to 1411 kbps (or even higher - please refer to screen shot)?

Also, are you in the works of adding more music streaming services like Tidal, Qobuz, etc that the product can support?

Thanks again for the quick response!

Re: Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter Capabilities

Hi again,

I don't know of any plans to increase bitrates on streaming services, but if it does happen we will update the community.

We're always working on adding services to the SoundTouch ecosystem, so if more are added we will update the community with a post in the same manor.

Best,

Brandon
