The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Bose Soundtouch 20: WiFi problem

This is probably a double posting, but I can't find the answer I'm looking for. I have a Soundtouch 20; which connects find to my home broadband router. I had an android (Samsung S9) and an iPhone 6 all connecting normally to broadband router. I have checked broadband's back-end, and confirm all connect normally. However, in Soundtouch app, I am not able to add the speaker on either iPhone or Android.

I have tried changing DNS settings in router, resetting speaker, uninstalling apps.

Any help?

Re: Bose Soundtouch 20: WiFi problem

Hi DaleMcintyre,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Bose Community. I am deeply sorry to hear that you are having some network connection issues and would love to assist you further.

Firstly, I would recommend that you attempt the alternate set up method that is listed here. Please also let me know if you have made any changes to this Wi-Fi network recently and if you have any extenders or repeaters.

I look forward to your reply and hope that this step resolves this for you.

Kind Regards,
