Realy ??
I am IT network specialist and work with a network provider.....my wifi network is top....and my Bose Soundtouch 30 is not working fine with wifi.
Please do something and stop finding excuses. There is a problem, so solve it.
I am having exactly the same issues. I have a Sound touch 20, 2 x 10's and the Home theatre. Regularly one or more devices drop off the net. Sometimes they re-eappear quickly, sometimes it takes days, even with resetting each device. For a premium product and company I find the response from Bose very poor given the position they say they hold in the Audio market. This problem is not a router issues as all my other Apple devices remain connected all the time without any issue. This is a Bose hardware/firmware issue. Get it sorted. These complaints go back several years now, more than enough for Bose to resolve, if they really wanted to.
Bose app on Win10 PC just lost my ST20 and 2 ST10's. Had to open and close the app about 6 times before the app made contact with the speakers - the saga continues.
There is a consumer law in OZ where if a "product is not fit for purpose" the manufacturer must repair, replace or make a refund. May have to go down this road.
Hello Bose,
The first complaint in this trail is dated. 01-23-2016 10:54 AM I just got your system 4 weeks ago and it was performing wonderfully for hours at a time. Just in the past 3 days it has developed the well reported problem of dropping the wifi and the frequency is getting worse! So it seems my speaker is DEGRADING! Since you have had 24 months to fix the firmware problem what are you going to do about it?
The good news alanmh is Bose call you and I "Friendly Fanatics" let them try to silence us when THEY call us that 🐵
Well sgmmccaskill I unplugged my countless times rescently and it was always okay for a few minutes. So I had the same problem until I unplugged my system for ever and changed it for a system that works without this hassle!
