Can I use 500 watt step down voltage converter for sound touch 30

I bought Bose sound touch 30 from USA and I want to use it in India. It is 120v and 150watts. Can I use 500 watt step down voltage converter for sound touch 30? Is there any specific model or brand to look for for the converter?

Re: Can I use 500 watt step down voltage converter for sound touch 30

Hi Nakul,

Thank you for your inquiry. We do not recommend the use of 3rd-party voltage converters. Any fault or misuse of these products can certainly damage the SoundTouch 30 speaker. It is important to know that the manufacturer's warranty does not cover any damage and/or defects caused by connections to improper voltage supplies. More information on the Bose product limited warranty can be found HERE

Best regards,

Brian
