Connect laptop to Bose Soundtouch 130 system.

I have a Sony Full HD 32' (700B) TV and recently purchased Bose Soundtouch 130 system. At present I have 2 HDMI cables coming from TV. 1st (with ARC) which goes to Soundtoch console, 2nd (DVI) to laptop (Dell 14 XPS). I am getting picture and sound (in TV mode) but every 1 minute or so Bose sound gets disconnected for some 5 seconds and tv audio gets activated that time. I also tried bluetooth in which sound is perfect, but sometimes laptop is unable to connect via bluetooth.
So I am looking for an optimal solution from community to get Full HD viewing experience with Bose audio quality.

Re: Connect laptop to Bose Soundtouch 130 system.

If the ARC output from your TV is losing sound intermittently, Try connecting an Optical audio cable between the TV and the Bose system. This will automatically override the HDMI ARC input and provide a dedicated audio connection. (you can leave the HDMI cable attached between the ST130 and the TV for video output)
Let us know if this resolves the issue. Thank you.
