Hi All!
How can I connect a karaoke mic to my Sound Touch 20 wireless speaker?
Is this even possible?

Hi Jagatr,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

This isn't something that is possible.

That's Hector.
So what's my best option? I'd there any other Bose speaker that would fit the bill for my need?
I just want something for my home - nothing professional or fancy. Or expensive.

Hi Jagatr,

Thanks for posting and updating me on this.

There isn't anything that we sell that I would recommend for this other than the S1 Pro System, however this doesn't fit your request of "nothing professional or fancy"

Re: Connecting Karaoke Mic to Sound Touch 20

Thank you again Hector.
One final question : could I possibly connect a simple microphone to my speaker? Sort of use it like a mini PA system?

Re: Connecting Karaoke Mic to Sound Touch 20

Hi Jagatr,

Thanks for posting and updating me on this.

This should work however I am not sure how the sound quality would be as this isn't the speaker's intended use. I would recommend that you use a mic pre-amp as the aux port would usually need a powered source not a passive source. I hope this helps!
