Re: Connecting multiple Soundtouch Speakers to Chromecast

Hi JamesK7676,

Thanks for the great question! Chromecast Audio devices are intended to connect to an existing speaker or system's auxiliary input, and only one at a time. If you are looking to use Chromecast on all of your SoundTouch speakers, we'd recommend connecting a Chromecast Audio device to the auxiliary input on each of your SoundTouch speakers. This will allow you to pick and choose which speakers you'd like to use when using a Chromecast compatible app.

If you need to connect all 3 speakers to a single Chromecast Audio device, you could look into headphone splitters. This will allow you to connect the Chromecast Audio device to one end, and run multiple 3.5mm connections to the different aux inputs on your SoundTouch speakers. Keep in mind, this will now show up as ONE device when using Chromecast. This means that audio will be sent to all of your speakers, every time you use Chromecast. If you do wish to try this option, I'd also recommend making sure that the headphone splitter you choose is returnable. There are many options out there, and some may present lower quality than others.

Let us know if you have any additional questions!

Best regards,

Brian
