Dog ate Cinemate Universal Remote

I'm not kidding, she really did.  The remote would no longer turn on my Cinemate 130.  I ordered a new remote (same type) but it won't turn on the system either.  It needs to be synched to my Cinemate 130.  Does anyone know how to do that?

Re: Dog ate Cinemate Universal Remote

Hi Marcellus,
Sorry to hear that happened to the remote control. The remote is supposed to work right out of the package there should be no programming needed to control the main Bose system on-off functions. You would only need to program the remote to control external devices like a cable box or Blu Ray player.
The steps we would rcommend for troubleshooting would be trying multiple new batteries in the remote and unplugging the media center for 1 minute to reset the system.
Just to confirm your model, do you have the same model in the link below?

Thanks,
Shawn
