HDCP Issues


i have the bose 520 and it was working fine before i update my samsung un65ks8500 suhd tv 

no it gave me the msg the programme cannot be viewed via hdmi connection because your tv does not support digital content protiction hdcp, discount the hdmi and connect the scart 


so how can i fex this ??

Thanks for posting in the community!  Sorry to hear about the HDMI issues, but would be glad to help!


Here are a few steps to try to see if we can refresh the HDCP handshake for the TV to recognize it:

  • Unplug the HDMI cable connecting both the 520's console and the TV
  • Disconnect the power cord on both the console and the TV
  • Reconnect the HDMI connections
  • Reconnect the power cables

We've seen this help with this type of issue.  Also, do you have the 520 connected to the home network and SoundTouch?  If so, did you update the 520 system through the app at all by chance?
