How to enable AirPlay wifi ?

Just to be clear before I return my Soundtouch 30 - it will definitely not stream air play via wifi, which means I can't steam music directly from my phone via wifi? Seems very odd that this isn't supported?
Sometimes I don't want to be in the same room I'm operating music from, or have my devise close enough to the unit for Bluetooth to work?

Hi Stuart, 

This will depend on the series of SoundTouch 30 you have. The older series supported Airplay instead of Bluetooth. The easiest way to tell is from the remote. If your remote has a Bluetooth icon next to AUX, like the one shown here, then it will not work with Airplay.

Thanks - I only bought it yesterday so assuming it's the latest series 3..
