Is Maximum volume safe for Soundtouch 30?

Hey Guys,
I am wondering if it is safe to test out my soundtouch 30 at 100% volume for a short period of time. I'm talking maybe 30 seconds, just to see how loud it is. I know its not great for hearing, but I'll be doing it on the back deck. Now, if I max it out, will the waveguide technology prevent it from over heating, and are the speakers rated to be used at max without ripping a cone, or tearing a surroind? I wont be keeping it at max for more than a minute, and I'm not modding of messing with the speaker. Also, if I use it at max every once in a while, would sound be less clear at normal volumes or would any damage be done?
Sorry for all the questions,

Re: Is Maximum volume safe for Soundtouch 30?

Hey there Audiophile_Rob,

Thanks for the question!  We design our systems to be run at 100% and still function properly, and sound great while doing so.

So, to answer your question, you can absolutely run it at 100% and feel perfectly safe doing so.  I've done it with my SoundTouch 30, along with several other Bose systems in the past.
