Manual Update from http site Hangs and Won't Update my BOSE

My soundtouch 10 has lost its ability to play music from my iphone over bluetooth - it connects to my phone but no sound comes out of the speaker at all. I am wondering if an update will work but it won't update using the Soundtouch App, so I am trying a manual update. 

 

When I go to the http site and upload the update file, my Bose is connected to my computer USB port but nothing happens for hours, not a thing, and then I am unable to reach the http site to try again.

Thank you for the post, and welcome to the community!

 

Does the system connect to Wi-Fi?  If so, you can try and force an update to the system using the VOL - and 4 buttons on top of the SoundTouch 10.  Pushing this update may correct the issue.
