Multiple Soundtouch 10 speakers playing as one via bluetooth only

I bought the Starter kit today and it is being delivered tomorrow so looking forward to the 2 new Soundtouch speakers that will blast out my tunes in the new man cave I've built.

Question is a simple one and the shop assistant said it would work .

I have a Samsung tablet with my tunes on it.
I want to pump that music out to the 2 Bose Soundtouch 10 speakers at the same time so music sounds nice at either end of room. Will do this by using the Bluetooth on the tablet.
I tested a single speaker in the shop from my Samsung phone and it was easy.

I don't have a wireless network down in the man cave so it is merely by Bluetooth that I wanna do this.

I've read some instructions but it talks about a network etc.  I'm lost now.   Can it do what I want and what the sales person said??

Did this work out for you?

I'm thinking of adding a second Soundtouch 10 to my original, using bluetooth only. Let me know!

Re: Multiple Soundtouch 10 speakers playing as one via bluetooth only

Thanks for the question,

Bluetooth offers a point to point connection. Meaning music sent via Bluetooth would only play on one speaker at a time. You can pair multiple SoundTouch speakers, however you would need to use the SoundTouch app and WIFI.

Hope this helps.
