My Bose Soundtouch 300 power cord has no polarity at the plug end?

Folks I need some help for my thinking.

I am concerned I can reverse the polarity to my new sound bar. The plug end provided is not polarity set with a wide male end for the natural and the narrow end for the hot. Because the Bose plug end has no polarity male ends to distinguish it I assume the speaker will operate correctly ? I know a normal speaker needs correct polarity, why did Bose not do this with their power plug supplied? Or will it operate correctly with either polarity?

Thank you
