My Companion 2 Series computer speakers are not working on Windows 10.

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with your Companion 2 speakers. I'd be happy to assist!

 

Have you tried connecting the speakers to anything else (smartphone, tablet, iPod, etc.) to see if you can get audio from any other devices?

 

If the issue is only happening with your Windows 10 computer, you may need to check your computer's audio output device settings:

 

  • In the search box on the taskbar, enter the word sound and select the result that has the title "Sound" with the subtitle "Control Panel". The Sound settings window will appear.
  • In the Playback tab, select the proper audio device and click Set Default. When only one device is available, it is automatically set as the default.
  • If changes were made, click Apply
  • Click OK to close the window
