The speaker is playing and then stops, the circular search symbol appears. It then kicks back in after perhaps 20 seconds. It does it constantly. The WIFI signal is very strong so it is not that. I have set-up the speaker several times and reloaded the App twice. Still the same result.
Welcome to the community forum and thanks for your post. I'm sorry that you're experiencing intermittent audio on your SoundTouch speaker. May I please ask for a little information to help troubleshoot the issue? I'd like to know:
Which system you have.
When the audio drops, does the WiFi indicator change, or does it stay a solid white?
Which sources are you trying to play from (e.g. Spotify, TuneIn, Bluetooth, Stored music library on computer)
Has the speaker worked in the past, or has it never worked correctly?
What model of router do you have? Is there any other equipment involved? (e.g. access points/range extenders)
Have you tried rebooting your router by unplugging it, leaving it 30 seconds or so, and plugging it back in? Does this have any effect on the audio consistency?
