Now that 17.x is out, is there an open API?

I know that past iterations of the API only supported local capabilities.  Now with the Alexa skill out, I am assuming that there has to be an API that is allowing Alexa to connect to my SoundTouch account.  Do we know if there is a true open API that we can now use?  I will proxy my Alexa/SoundTouch connection to see what is going on under the hood, but I figured I would ask the community and see if there has been any update.

Hi Jereld,

Good question.  My recommendation would be to check out the revamped API site @ https://developer.bose.com/

Thanks,

Brandon

The new api is a step forward, it does allow you to specify a file to play on the soundtouch system. I haven't played with it too much, but its nice to see some improvements that are open to all and not just US based.
