Playing music files on NAS USB Drive - is there a capacity limit?

My 180GB personal music collection is held in a simple folder tree on a 256GB USB stick which is plugged into my TP-Link Router. I can see and listen to any of the tracks on my PC and Android phone. The Soundtouch App can see some of the albums, with their individual tracks, and it plays these nicely through my Soundtouch 30 series III speaker. But most of the tracks it cannot see or play.

Does Bose impose a limit on the amount of files it can read - or am I doing something wrong? (I have not compiled my collection into iTunes or Windows 'libraries'.) Any advice would be appreciated.

I have the same issue. With itunes i can excess all the music files on my nas, but in the Soundtouch app definitely not all.

I use the app hifi cast to cast it to the Soundtouch

Thanks, AmbuTom. It is a pity there is not a proper solution for this within the Bose app, but your suggestion of using the app "Hi Fi Cast" was very helpful. I did not know of this app, but it does a great job.
