Playlists Don't Show up in SoundTouch App

Just purchased the Bose SoundTouch 30 Series III and have synched the iTunes music from our Mac/iTunes and the iPhone X....all the playlists from the iPhone X show up in iTunes on the Mac, all the playlists were downloaded from iCloud and reside on the Mac/iTunes, however, only a small selection of the Playlists show up in the SoundTouch app, with very few of the songs in each Playlist...while searching for a solution, there were posts in the archives about Playlists needing to be created on the Mac to show up in the SoundTouch app, but we were able to create a playlist on the iPhone, sync it with the Mac and it showed up in the SoundTouch app.....is there a solution for getting a complete list of both playlists and ALL the songs in each playlist to be accessible from the Mac/iTunes in the SoundTouch app?

Welcome to the community and thank you for the question.

 

Have you confirmed all songs are downloaded locally to the Mac computer? I have seen something similar happen in the past and it was because all the music was not downloaded locally to the computer.

 

I can suggest to test by removing the music library from the SoundTouch application, rebooting the computer and re-adding your library to SoundTouch to see if it picks up the missing songs.

 

Also, if songs are still missing after the steps above, were these purchased from iTunes or Apple Music? If you are able to locate a song that might not be showing up and get info from that track within iTunes. If the track states "protected" under file information, these will not work outside of iTunes.
