Preferred network 5G or 2.4?

Hello everyone, my question is pretty basic. All things being equal, should I use my 5G network or my 2.4 G network for the SoundTouch system? Still battling drops and lost speakers, my last resort is to try out moving everything to the 5G. (6 speakers and 3 control devices)

I do understand that I should have everything on the same network, have been using 2.4 so far.

I’m worn out.

Very generally, 2.4 is better when distance or interference may be a problem, use 5 is when bandwidth is a concern. Hardwire at least one soundtouch system when you can, all if possible. If nothing can be hardwired use the system with the best connection to the router as the group master or whenever selecing play everywhere.
