Re: SPOTIFY STOPS AFTER PLAYING FEW SONGS. BOSE SOUNDTOUCH 30 III

Hi Mauriam,

Can you maybe please provide what kind of hardware you are using and which software version of the Bose app you have now running (PC or Mac, ST10/20/30) and as well the error code you get?

I am playing on Spotify Premium Family now my weekly playlists for the last two hours here at home and there are no issues at all.

Many thanks

Re: SPOTIFY STOPS AFTER PLAYING FEW SONGS. BOSE SOUNDTOUCH 30 III

So this is maybe related to a Spotify problem in your country?

You say it is the same when you use the spotify app directly from your PC. Is this only happening when streaming to your Soundtouch or do you have the same issue playing only on your PC without the Bose speaker?

As I said here (Germany) no problems at all ...

I have the issue just with the speaker, i was talking about that the problems occurs also without using soudtouch app for example im listening a song with spotify desktop app and then i stream the sound to my speaker using "connect to a device" button in spotify desktop app.

 I'm from Mexico and i have never experienced this issue before...

Hi Mauriam,

has your speaker already updated to the latest Firmware (14.0.30)?

Maybe there is an incompatibility between the latest app and the old (14.0.15) Firmware?

There are definitely no problems with Spotify on the other side of the world ...

Hi,

I'll try 🙂

It should be in

-> Settings

-> About

->  choose your speaker there, or your software and the information is there 🙂

Hope this helps and is the same in Android 🙂

So maybe you should just wait for the update anounced on the top of this forum:

Announcements

2/24 Update

We have extended the rollout timeframe for this update. The reason for the delay was a bug that was discovered in the 14.0.28 version that impacted speaker grouping on some systems. The staged update process was then suspended so that the bug could be resolved before it was received by additional users.

The replacement update began its release yesterday 2/23 and should be received by all users by the end of the day on 2/28. The current version for the users who have received the update is 14.0.30.

Note that although there is an app update available in the Google Play and iTunes stores, users will receive a separate in-app update prompt to enable all fixes and features.

New SoundTouch system firmware available. Version 14.0.30 - Release Notes
