I updated the ST300 software and reconnected, it has been now more than a week and it is still connected, so things definitely look better now. I hope it will continue this way, will write again if the problems recur.

I am having the same issue. I have a Samsung 900 series TV. Last week I noticed that the TV was not using the Soundbar. I followed the instructions from a post I found on the blog - disconnected HDMI and power from all units. That resolevd the issue but it was only temporary.
Last night the TV lost connection to Soundbar. I went thru the process of disconnecting and reconnecting everything again. I keep on having to spend time on the same issue again and again. I am very frustrated because don't know what is the root cause of the problem.
Is there a sequence to turn on/off which has to be followed? What am I missing?
