Hey Tony,

 

The CEC setting was "Default On", I tried the 'Alternate On' and 'Off' settings but did not notice the issue getting better or worse.  This was a few days ago when I tried playing with those settings - but I can try again.  I can post a video here in a day or two, if you would please provide the link.  

 

When changing the CEC settings - do I need to reboot the soundbar for the changes to fully take effect?

Hey Tony, I dont know if my upload to the dropbox link worked or not, so I uploaded them to youtube as well.. you can view them here:

 

1. Here is the soundbar playing audio only via toslink, and the HDMI is bypassing the soundbar entirely.  This isnt ideal for me because the splitter I have degrades the video quality.

2. Here is the soundbar playing audio and passing video via HDMI pass through.  You can see the flash happen 2 or 3 times in this clip.  Look at the 0:53 mark and the 1:52 mark in the video.

The video quality looks much better in person btw.. recording the screen you get alot of "rainbow" effect.  Both of these videos are playing in 4k

Bump for awareness.. this is still an issue that BOSE has yet to address.
