Searching for Speaker

I have been using Soundtouch 10 speakers in my home for 9 months. Although the sound is teriffic , the system appears to be unable to re-join my wifi network if it ever loses the connection, something that happens every day. So, when I launch the app each day, it says "Searching for Speaker" and does not connect. The only solution I have found is to unplug/replug in the speaker, and I am not willing to settle for the alternate set-up method weaknesses.


This appears to be a design flaw in the system. Every other web-enabled device I own is able to re-join the wifi network automatically. Can Bose please add this ability to the next firmware release?

Sorry to hear about the problems you're having.


You definitely shouldn't have to reset the speaker daily in order to use it.  What brand/model router do you have?  Have you tried rebooting the router recently?
