Searching for speaker

Hi,

I have a a SoundTouch30 and a 10. All was well and good when I first got them 2 weeks ago. I’ve gone to connect them as usual this evening by opening up the app and turning them on and it just says searching for speaker then won’t connect. I’ve rebooted them both and reconnected them but it connects to one but not the other. I’ve done another reset and it’s done the same thing but the other way round. It says searching for speaker on the app but then say it cannot connect and try re-setting it. It’s not the 30 speaker because I got it connected on its own and it’s not the 10 speaker because I had that connected on it’s own too. I just can’t connect both at the same time. Does anyone know a fix for this? Am I being stupid?

Thanks for writing in!  Sorry to hear about the connection issues, but would be happy to help!

 

  • How far away are each speaker from the router?
  • Can you provide us the make/model of the router?
  • Who is your internet service provider?
  • Can you try and connect the SoundTouch 30 directly to the router with an ethernet cable to test?
