The reason the systems and app connect to the servers is to enable features through the ecosystem like saving presets, updates, account information, etc.  This is outlined in the terms and agreements when first installing the application.  I think the best course at this point is to contact your local support center by clicking HERE.   Just select your country and Contact Us at the bottom to display a number for support in your area.
