Sound Touch 20 Bluetooth connection Issues with multiple devices

Sound Touch 20 is a great product but I have been UNABLE to achieve connectivity with multiple Apple devices (IPhone X and IPad) in the same area.  After multiple phone calls to tech service, was advised to "forget one of the devices" as the assumption was the Soundtouch was confused which device to connect too via Bluetooth.  I am a Bose user, across the board, and find this unacceptable.  I own two Bose Color II SoundLink speakers and when I turn on the Bose device, they both connect to my phone and tablet without any issues, totally reliable.  Why shouldn't this same feature be available on the Soundtouch system of products?  OR, if it is, can someone help me out?

Re: Sound Touch 20 Bluetooth connection Issues with multiple devices

Hi bruce fisher,

Thanks for writing in!  I'm sorry to hear about the Bluetooth issues, but I'd be happy to assist!

  • Has this been an issue since you've purchased the system or did it start happening recently?
  • Has a power reset been performed on the speaker and mobile devices?
  • Let's try factory defaulting the speaker by holding down the #1 and Vol - button on the system for about 10 seconds.

Let us know how it goes!
