I'd like to give an update on this issue.
After updating Sound Touch 20 (versions: ST20 - 14.0.33, Sound Touch App on Android 14.80.6, interface 14.90.3, protocoll 59) sometime in late March, I reconfigured the same NAS I had the problems with earlier. Now, the ST20 doesn't turn on unintentionally anymore.
So I'd say this issue is fixed now, thanks Bose! 🙂

Can you try to unplug the system from power for 30 seconds to see if a reset will help? Can you also try to remove the batteries from the remote in case the system is being sent a bad command from the remote? If those fail, please try a factory default using the procedure HERE.
