I have ST10 3 months. I connect the speaker to mobile phones (Android 9, Android 8) and it works. But after some time (+/- over night) when I want to re-connect, it does not work. ST would simply not find any of the phones. The only thing that works is to plug it our from electricity and then plug in, again. Only then it works... for limited time only. I tried:
1) Re-installig ST10 to factory default setting
2) Connection of Various phones
3) Erasing phone BT list, ST10 BT list, restarting everything many times
4) Setting another WiFi channel(s) on router
5) Search for possible directions on this forum
I also have a no-name BT speaker that costs USD 40, and it works perfectly. Fast and realiable connection whenever I want to use it. Moreover, I have Bose SoundSport BT phones, and that product also works well with both phones.
So, the problem is not in our phones.
SoundTouch starts to drive me crazy
Any suggestions how to fix those issues? Thanks a lot...
Many thanks for your post, I'm sorry to hear you are having this issue with the Soundtouch speakers.
As you have gone through quite a lot of troubleshooting, I would recommend trying a force update on the speakers. For the Soundtouch 10, to force an update you wold need to press and hold the "preset" 4 button and the volume minus button together for 10 seconds. Once the speaker has updated, the speaker will reboot. This may help with the Bluetooth connections to stay paired and allow easier connections.

thank you for a very quick response. I did exactly what you had suggested, and it looks it works. Still, give me few days to prove it has not been only temporary improvement. After that I will gladly close this case as solved.
Note: I appreciate your help, and please do not feel offended by my initial post. I used to be Bose-enthusiast, but ST 10 performance caused us so much trouble that sometimes I just cannot help myself and complain. But the "underline complaints" are adressed to Bose developers and price-tag managers, not you.

so I have the feedback. Unfortunately, the situation is all the same as it used to be. It means after some time period, ST 10 is unable to re-connect to my phone. I think there is something that always needs to be restarted in the speaker.
I tried to connect it both ways - from ST app, and from BT control panel in my phone. Would you recommend any other possible solution of this problem?

The only other thing I can recommend to do is to factory reset the speaker or to clear the Bluetooth lists from the speaker and Bluetooth device, But you have already gone through both of these options.

so I called to Basys (importer, service), but their phone line is redirected. Shortly: My ST 10 speaker needs to be repaired, as all other possible steps have been made. The speaker is driving me crazy since Christmas Day. It was a gift for my wife, and I had been promoting Bose product long time before that. I was also thinking about purchasing one of Bose home theater systems, but everything seems to be so complicated... The initial setup of ST 10 was difficult (took me solid hour or more). I am not an IT specialist, but neither newbee (I am a web developer/marketing consultant)...
But beginning with absolutely terrible TuneIn performance, through BT issues and sound quality that does not catch USD 150 labeled micro-hifi system - all of that is a warning sign. Design of your products is great, I love my SoundSport headphones, but will really hesitate whether invest more money in Bose home theater.
With all respect to your assistance - I really appreciate it - many folks say there are products that sound like Bose, but are cheaper. I will have a look at them.
