I think there are two things that could help here. The first thing I would recommend is to re-install the update on the soundbar using the procedure HERE. I know you mentioned that you have already uninstalled and re-installed the app on your phone, but I would also recommend clearing the apps cache, uninstalling and re-installing one more time to see if that does the trick. Please let us know if you continue to have issues or if this fixes it.
