SoundTouch 300 WIFI indicator does not dim when turned off

When I power down my SoundTouch 300 the WIFI indicator light stays solid white and does not dim like it is supposed to do.

I’ve tried all troubleshooting, unplug, reset, reconnect, update.

According to the BOSE website when in power saving mode and connected to WiFi the LED light should be WHITE (DIM).

Please advice.

Re: SoundTouch 300 WIFI indicator does not dim when turned off

Hello Javier Ruiz de Somocurcio,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Bose Community.

I'm sorry to see that your SoundTouch 300 Wi-Fi is not dimming when you shut the system down.

I know you said that you reset the soundbar. Was this a factory default that you performed? If not, we would recommend trying that before contacting support over the phone.

To get in touch with support, go HERE, select your region and choose "Contact Us" for a phone number.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Kind Regards,

Re: SoundTouch 300 WIFI indicator does not dim when turned off

Hello,

Yesterday I performed the factory default reset procedure succesfully and it didn´t correct the issue.

The next step is call for support right?

I was hoping for a software update to fix this issue, is there an update available?

Best regards,

Re: SoundTouch 300 WIFI indicator does not dim when turned off

Hello Javier Ruiz de Somocurcio,

Thank you for trying those steps for me.

Yes, the next step I'd suggest is to contact support for service. This is not something an update would be able to resolve for you.

Please let us know how everything works out after service.

Warm Regards,
